From powerful statements on social justice and cultural stress, to uplifting aspiration, to infectious groove, the music of Stevie Wonder is as relevant today as when it was first recorded. A dozen performers from some of Jacksonville’s best bands will be paying homage on Saturday, April 22, at 1904 Music Hall. Doubling as an unofficial afterparty for Tower of Power (who plays Florida Theatre that night), it’ll make for a tremendous evening of entertainment in the urban core.
