North Florida Land Trust’s Archaeology After Hours

North Florida Land Trust to host Archaeology After Hours: A Talk on Climate Change and Site Stewardship on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the St. Augustine Distillery at 112 Riberia St. in St. Augustine. It begins at 6 p.m. with a tour of the distillery and cocktail hour, followed at 7 p.m. with a talk by Emily Jane Murray, public archaeology coordinator for the Florida Public Archaeology Network Northeast Region.


Murray will discuss climate change issues in Florida, how the changes impact archaeological sites and will talk about what the public can do to help. The cost to participate is $10 per person, but space is limited to the first 50 people who sign up for the event. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.northfloridalandtrust.org/calendarofevents/.

NFLT is partnering with environmental groups around the region for their quarterly seminar series. The series was designed to raise awareness of the variety of conservation work happening around the region.
