The St. Augustine Community Chorus holds its annual Holiday program on Saturday Dec 14th at 7:30 pm or Sunday Dec 15th at 2 pm in the beautiful Cathedral Basilica. “This Christmastide” features John Rutter’s Magnificat with full chorus, chamber orchestra, pipe organ, Anna Eschbach, soprano soloist, and the St. Augustine Youth Chorus. Also on the program is Morten Lauridsen’s ethereal O Magnum Mysterium, a piece that has quickly become a “new” classic since it was premiered in 1994. As is the tradition, they will include selections from The Messiah and traditional carols.
