JACKSONVILLE, FL – February 9, 2018 –
Private Collector’s Dinner at Town Hall restaurant, 2012 San Marco Blvd, 6:30 p.m.
Exhibition Opening at Wall Street Fine Art gallery, with words from René Romero Schuler, 8:30 p.m.
Join a private dining experience at San Marco’s new Town Hall restaurant, led by two-time James Beard nominee Tom Gray. The design aesthetic, intimate dining, four-course dinner and wine pairings will all encompass touches that are inspired by the artist.
Wall Street Fine Art (WSFA), 207 North Laura Street, has been passionate about René’s work from the moment it was first encountered. “Her work is alive with energy that draws you in and pulls out your true self, causing you to question what is really meaningful and possible,” said Jessica Santiago, Gallery Director, WSFA. René Romero Schuler is the creator of the Art Republic-sponsored mural on the northeast corner of Monroe and Laura, caddy-corner from Hemming Park. Her works in this exhibition are powerful images of strength and vulnerability that speak to the heart of the human condition: love, sorrow, solitude, and heartbreak; yet, through these depictions of difficult subjects, she inspires her viewers with hope. Share a night surrounded by incredible minds and creative discussion.
