The Women’s Center of Jacksonville invites the public to join us at the Women’s Day of Action to bring awareness and support to issues impacting women in our community and nationwide on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018 starting at 11 a.m. at the Jacksonville Landing. The event is free and includes music and presentations in recognition and celebration of the one-year anniversary of the Women’s March on Washington. As a presenting sponsor of the event, we will be there to support the efforts of those who continue to work on behalf of women.  Additionally, any funds raised from the event will go to support our sister islands, who continue to struggle from the effects of the devastating hurricanes in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Florida Keys.  There will also be opportunities for expanding voter access and registration, a crucial step towards meaningful change.
