Janet M. Herrick, a contributing writer for Arbus for thirteen years, is a sought-after public speaker, writer, and community educator on subjects involving leadership and environmental issues. She is a 2012 Leadership Jacksonville member, JAXChamber’s 2011 small business leader of the year, and nationally recognized Leave No Trace master educator. In 2009, she was recognized as the Leave No Trace state advocate in the nation for her educational efforts in Florida. She holds dual master’s degrees in English and Environmental Policy.
