(Jacksonville – August 20, 2022) The City of Jacksonville Beach is excited to welcome the 1st R&B Soul Festival to one of the most popular parks in Jacksonville Beach, Seawalk Pavilion August 20th. As a response to troubling times amid post-pandemic society, the R&B Soul Festival will be an all-day soul healing experience where the Jacksonville community will be promoting wellness and celebrating R&B music. The all day outdoor concert will feature live performances by Sunshine Anderson (Grammy nominated-singer), Adina Howard (R&B Diva), Cupid (National Recording Artist and Guinness World Record Holder), DJ Tony Neal (Rickey Smiley’s Official DJ), DJ Ekin (Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official DJ), Hosted by V101.5’s own GeneDotCom & many more. This event was created to pay homage to R&B music which is a huge staple in the community as well as provide a healthy outlet for guests to have fun, experience good vibes, encourage wellness and receive the healing they need; whether that be musical, spiritual and/or emotional.

In the park, thousands of R&B Soul Festival attendees will enjoy nationally and internationally renowned R&B artists, DJs, along with surprise guest performances, vending from local businesses, VIP tents and charging stations. This event will serve as a safe space where attendees are encouraged to bring coolers, blankets, yoga mats and lawn chairs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit a special “Soul Healing Center” activation that will include access to wellness resources.
