This spring, MOCA Jacksonville launched a series of art classes for contemporary creatives. The workshops are led by artist and educator Anthony Aiuppy and are designed for beginning and intermediate students, ages sixteen and up. In the Fundamentals of Acrylic Painting classes, students will learn foundational techniques and introductory color theory, including how to mix acrylic paint to create monochromatic, limited palette, and full palette artworks. Students will paint from still life arrangements as well as from photographic references. Materials not included.
Four sessions, Saturdays.
