Reddi-Arts presents work by renowned sculptor Enzo Torcoletti and noted multi-disciplinary artist Robert Hall, both longtime St. Augustine residents. Torcoletti, whose work is in many public and private institutions in North America and Europe, creates vibrant abstract sculptures in stone, wood and other materials. Locally, his sculptures grace Camp Blanding, Koger Properties’ campus, and San Marco’s Jim Rink Park, and were selected for The Cummer’s inaugural exhibit in the Weaver Sculpture Garden.
Robert Hall, former chair of the Flagler College art department, is a strong voice on behalf of historic preservation in St. Augustine, where he is also a noted re-enactor. His recent, strong, abstract collages reflect his lifetime fascination with history, both ancient and modern. With color and texture, Hall involves both politics and cultural issues in his works.
Opening reception: Sunday, Oct. 1, 2–4 p.m. Reddi-Arts, 1037 Hendricks Ave., 398-3161.
