Celebrating thirteen years as the largest free classical music festival in the country, St. Augustine Music Festival is committed to a mission to educate, elevate, and entertain with the finest concerts for everyone, whether you are a connoisseur or newcomer to classical music.
The St. Augustine Music Festival was founded in 2007 by Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra members Jorge A. Peña (viola) and Jin Kim-Peña (cello). Programs bring audiences everything from Bach to Stravinksy, intimate solo recitals, chamber music ensembles, and full orchestral works, all performed by world-class musicians in the acoustically splendid St. Augustine Cathedral Basilica. The festival welcomes more than 5,000+ enthusiastic attendees annually, and through the generous support of private donors and corporate sponsorships concerts are free and open to all.
