By Tori Fusinaz, Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer for the Jacksonville Symphony

In the heart of Jacksonville, where the St. Johns River weaves its timeless melody through the cityscape, something extraordinary is about to unfold. The Jacksonville Symphony is primed for its 75th anniversary season with a new logo that reflects our city’s bridges and rivers, and a lineup that promises to dazzle and delight every music lover under the Florida sun.

Picture this: a city buzzing with anticipation, where the air is electric with the promise of nothing short of musical brilliance. As the curtains rise and the first notes fill the air, a collective journey of musical excellence begins in Jacoby Symphony Hall. For the Jacksonville Symphony, this is not just any milestone; it is a testament to the community’s deep-rooted love affair with music and the symphony’s commitment to delivering profound musical experiences season after season.

Beginning in 1950, the Jacksonville Symphony quickly became one of the leading arts organizations in North Florida. Over the decades it has grown in both size and reputation, attracting world-class talent and countless accolades. The symphony is not just known for its artistic excellence within the industry, but also for its positive impact on the city of Jacksonville. The economic impact alone reached nearly $17 million last year, driving traffic to our downtown and creating memorable experiences for both locals and visitors alike.

“Celebrating our 75th anniversary is not only a tribute to the rich history of our symphony but also a heartfelt acknowledgment of the community that has supported us for seven decades,” says Jacksonville Symphony President and CEO Steven Libman.
