First Street Gallery artists, along with regional and national artists, have created their own vision of magical mermaids for this third annual group show. You’ll discover mermaid artwork in all media – painting, photography, clay, glass, metal and jewelry. First Street Gallery has once again teamed up with Dreams Come True (an organization that assists local children battling life threatening illness): a portion of all mermaid artwork proceeds will be donated to this charity and enable “dreamers” to participate in the annual KYDS/Jaffi’s fashion show. Some local artists participating in the Mermaids show are photographer Melinda Bradshaw; glass jewelry artist Tracy Womack; polymer and jewelry artist Pat Livesay; and ceramic artist JoAnne Adams.
