MOCA Jacksonville is bringing back its New Year’s Eve party this year. Rather than throw a traditional gala fundraiser, The Party of Our Time is an event designed to bring together artists, innovators, entrepreneurs and those who like to celebrate the New Year in style to kick off 2019 in celebration of art, culture and revitalization. The party features a VIP Catalyst Dinner followed by the Countdown Bash featuring Mama Blue and her seven piece band, DJ Catharsis, eats by NOLA MOCA, an open bar all night, and live art performances throughout the evening.
“New Year’s Eve is a big city event across the globe, and Jacksonville is in need of a destination party to celebrate in the heart of its urban core,” says Marilyn Gilman, 2018 NYE Host Committee Chair. “MOCA has a history of throwing a fabulous event, and we wanted to rekindle that excitement and energy but on a whole new level. Everyone needs a good reason to dress up for New Year’s Eve, and this party is going to be the hottest ticket in town.”
