“It appears to be monumental only because it’s art.” — ChristoThe Art Center Cooperative is starting this new year with a new gallery located at The Landing, Suite 113, called The Annex. The Annex’s opening show, titled Monumental Art Show, features works in photography, mixed media, oils, acrylics, and wood. Rather than being monumental in size, each piece represents a monumental event or occurrence that can be described as unforgettable, or awesome, enduring, enormous, fantastic, gigantic, grand, great, historic, huge, immense, mammoth, massive, memorable, significant, towering, and tremendous.
