Artist, architect and City of St. Augustine Vice-Mayor Roxanne Horvath is the featured artist at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery during the month of January. Horvath’s original and evocative work is informed not only by her background in architecture, but also by her study of photography at the university level and of enamel work at two international crafts schools, Penland School of Arts and Haystack. Deeply influenced by Horvath’s independent studies of myth and symbolism, this eclectic exhibition includes works in mixed media, fabric sculpture, and enamel and wood sculpture. Horvath’s work has been shown in art galleries and museums throughout Northeast Florida. Butterfield Garage Art Gallery, 137 King Street, St. Augustine. The gallery is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For further information, please call 904 825-4577.
