Local, regional and national artists create sea turtle themed art with a portion of the proceeds going to The Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol. This is the patrol’s largest fund-raiser with First Street Gallery’s donation last year close to $500. This year’s artists include Melinda Bradshaw, JoAnne Adams, Cheryl Wencel and Maureen Buik. Sea turtles created in glass, clay, jewelry, paintings, photography and metal will be on display and available for purchase. Members of the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol will be available at the opening to answer questions and discuss how important this group is to the wellbeing of these wonderful sea creatures.
