Don Andrews Visits Jacksonville Watercolor Society
Don Andrews, American Watercolor Society (AWS) instructor for the Jacksonville Watercolor Society’s (JWS) Spring Workshop and juror for the group’s Spring Show, is a nationally known watercolor artist, author and workshop instructor. He was inspired by Andrew Wyeth and watercolorist Millard Sheets, a west coast artist, because of his depictions of color and light.

The Black Beach
The Black Beach is a multi disciplinary contemporary art exhibition inspired by the history- to present state of the famous American Beach. Abraham Lincoln Lewis, the first black millionaire in the state of Florida, bought and led the development of the famous strip of land in 1935.
“W.A.V.E.” – Women Artists, Visual Experience
This show will feature one piece each by ninety-plus important women artists living and working in the airport’s seven-county service region. It includes members of the FemArt Gallery art consortium, many artists who applied to show at JIA in 2020, artists from the CoRK Arts District, and women artists who have previously made an impact showing their work at JIA during the twenty-five-year history of its art program.
