This show will feature one piece each by ninety-plus important women artists living and working in the airport’s seven-county service region. It includes members of the FemArt Gallery art consortium, many artists who applied to show at JIA in 2020, artists from the CoRK Arts District, and women artists who have previously made an impact showing their work at JIA during the twenty-five-year history of its art program.

Thursday, February 27 Join Carmen & Rey’s Cancer Kids at the Haskell building for an evening of Cuban art in support of this non-governmental organization that has helped change the lives of kids with cancer in Cuba for more than thirty-one years. Beginning in 2008, the British and U.S. Embassies in Havana held annual art auctions to support the work of Carmen & Rey’s Cancer Kids. However, as the US Embassy scaled back personnel in 2017, these auctions have not been possible. So in February 2020, the art auction is coming to you....
